October 2023
Resources from the October 19, 2023 CCP Quarterly Zoom Meeting
Bats!
The Chatham Conservation Partnership (CCP) conducted a webinar on Bats of Chatham County on October 19, 2023, and we had a great turnout of about 90 folks. We had several speakers deliver interesting presentations and the great news is anyone not able to attend the live webinar can now watch the recording!
Chatham County is home to many bat species, including the tricolored bat which is being proposed endangered by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. We’ll have the state’s bat experts come and talk about bat biology and behavior, conservation, and how bat populations are monitored in the county.
